Foundation of Hope for Haiti, Inc. (FONEH, Inc.) is ready to ship a container full of food, water and medical supplies. MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of FONEH is to improve the quality of life underserved populations in the world through provision of support services and education in a charitable manner, to address racial, social and economic issues affecting this population, and to work collaboratively with others charitable organizations to preserve natural resources and critical community services in this population.

Just recently, FONEH has distributed food to more than five hundred families who were strongly affected by the natural disaster that ravaged their town and destroyed all of their resources. As you can imagine, these families are in desperate need of shelter, food, clothing, and other life preserving needs. PROJECTS
In the Fall of 2008 four hurricane struck the northern coast of Haiti resulting in devastating effects. It was reported that 470 people died, 15,842 homes were destroyed , 37,825 homes were damage, 170,815 families in total were effected by the disaster. Currently there are more than 150,735 people who are still in shelter and are homeless with no food, clothes, or clean water. Many farmers lost their land and livestock, and those who were poor became poorer. Residence are desperately in need of help, so that they can rebuild homes, reconstruct agricultural life, and to be independent and having a lasting development.
