Foundation of Hope for Humanity (FONEH) is a non governmental organization and non profit making, started in 1987 by Reverend Pastor Michelet BRUTUS. This NGO is legally recognized by Haitian government since January 18th, 1996 at the number B-0222 and published in the official news paper public of Haiti September 30th, 1996. And also registered by American government at the number EIN-20-0980568 under section 501 (C) (3).

DOMAIN OF INTERVENTION

FONEH is working with the poorest communities in Haiti, peasant group, peasant association, cooperatives and Churches so that they can have the capacity to help themselves materially and spiritually without any racial discrimination and religion.
        Haiti is the poorest country in the World where so many people included the children, are starving. Most of them lost their parents from the several tragedies such as: Natural disaster, famine, lack of medicines and else. This information above can tell you how critical their situation. Many of these children cannot go to school because of their financial situation; they cannot even buy the school supplies. Most of them come to school without a hot meal. According to them, they usually spend all day long without a hot meal due to the hungriness situation; most of the time they cannot hear when they are hungry. Sometimes they cannot listen even to the teachers.
