Last July through October 2008, Haiti was completely destroyed by four hurricanes. Now the situation is getting worst, lamentable and painful. The entire Haiti was completely under water and kills more than 470 people, 15842 houses completely destroyed, 37825 houses damaged, 170815 families affected by this terrible disaster, until now we have more than 150735 people currently who are in the temporary shelter because they are homeless, no food, clothes and clean water. Their garden and their cattle all were gone away. The people become poorer than before. So, they need urgent help not only to get back to life but also to work their piece land. Please help them to rebuild their smalls houses so we can relieve them from their suffering help them to be self-sufficient and have a lasting development. read more

In department of health level, The Foundation of Hope for Haiti (FONEH) is so concerned about of the health of those 9153 children in the schools. Most of the time because of the poverty of their parents who are dying from starvation every day, we don’t have enough doctors to take care of them and also lack of medicine because when they are sick it is usually difficult to go to the hospital.. It is the same context that we come to ask you please to join hands together with us, so that to save all these children lives, the parents and the other people who are living in the community. It is important for them to have at least once a year some volunteer doctors to prevent them from some sickness.
The orphans’ children have a several problems everyday, they don’t have people to take care of them, they can’t go to school, they cannot even have a meal a day, due to the fact of poverty they normally got sick and die. According to the survey data of Haiti, there are more than 3.000.000 children never go to school. In 20 schools that FONEH is working with, there are more than 357 children in each school who are not able to pay the school fee. Among of them are fatherless and motherless.
According to UNICEF International there are only 52 % kids in Haiti who attend school. Among them 37% of kids only have the possibility to continue to go to school. The rest can’t continue because of the poverty of their parents. Despite of the weak economical situation of FONEH we are currently helping 9153 children to go to school.
FONEH is also working with more than 10.598 farmers. We provide training to them to know how to work their piece land. We send agricultural technician to teach them how to prepare natural fertilizer, compost so that to work better and help their families. They have no irrigation system; they produce if the rain fall down, if not, they children will be dying with hungry. Please help us find other people to collaborate with you so that you can help us.

We provide training for several Christians leaders through the churches; we help them to study the Bible, how to preach and spread the gospel of Christ.
Because of lamentable situation of Haiti the Christian people was also stricken by the hurricanes become the poorer than before. They have no possibility to feed their families and to contribute to help the others children in the street who have no possibility to go to school. Our church is a part of an association of more than 10 churches. The name is League of Pastors and Evangelical Churches of Saint-Michel de l’Attalaye Haiti. We need to build a center to receive the poorest children without racial discrimination and religion (the kids in the street and orphans who are starving everyday)
